Kim Barta’s year-long immersive group shadow work program, Communing With Shadow, will help you apply and practice all the lessons from Illuminating Shadow and Healing Shadow in a supportive community. It includes:
- 24 hours of live Zoom calls with Kim.
- A small cohort of no more than 18.
- Kim's cohort design with individual, one-on-one, small group, and large group targeted experiences sequenced throughout the month.
- Additional teachings in writing, video, and live on Zoom.
- Kim will additionally create customized teachings and experiential exercises for you and your specific group, often on-demand in the large group sessions.
- Q and A time
- Slack group environment for lessons and sharing.

- Week 1: Group training, support, and shadow work led by Kim Barta.
- Week 2: Meet with a study buddy for more intimate practice.
- Week 3: Meet in groups of 4 for expanded experiences of the work.
- Week 4: Meet with Study Buddy to refine work based upon the month.
- Repeat with new wisdom, insight, training and depth.
Every 3 months you will get a new study buddy.
Why 3 months? We believe 3 months is the optimum amount of time needed to build trust. This trust will carry on through the rest of the program. This ongoing trust and intimate understanding of each study buddy builds depth.
Changine partners provides variety (the spice of life). New connections bring new awareness. This helps to broaden your work.
Many choose to continue to meet with their original study buddies in addition to their new ones, deepening their relationship and shadow skills throughout the rest of the year.
Every 3 months, you will have a new group of 4 to meet with. This will provide a variety of mini-group experiences.
In this way you will work more intimately with every member of the larger group by the end of the year.
